Diana K. Dorey, 80, of 335 Center St., Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born in Lock Haven on March 16, 1943 to Lester W. and Margaret Kramer Robb.
Diana attended Lock Haven High School. Following high school, she married Richard Dorey and was a stay-at-home mother for many years before being employed at Champion Auto Parts.
Diana enjoyed collecting antiques and worked with local antique dealers buying and restoring pieces. She spent a great deal of time looking for collectables or treasures at yard sales, auctions and the local Thrift stores. While involved in antiquing, she met Charles Bowling, an antique dealer, who became her close companion.
Diana enjoyed being around animals and spent countless hours with her feline companions, Prisilla and Charlie. She enjoyed eating out at many local establishments around Clinton County, and especially looked forward to lunch on Saturdays with her siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Denise (Steven) Vereen, of South Carolina, and Heather Dorey, of Michigan; three sons; Michael (Nancy) Dorey, of Bellefonte, Craig (Robin) Dorey, of Michigan, Heath (Lori) Dorey, of Howard; a brother, William (Judy) Robb; four sisters, Sandra Scholl, Mary Jo Robb, Catherine Bower and Michele (Harry) Dugan; and 12 grandchildren.
Diane was preceded in death by her companion, Charles H. Bowling; a sister, Bonita Xiarchos; and a son-in-law, George Meluch.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at 4 p.m., in the Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Pastor Susan Champion of the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, Mill Hall.
Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one half hour prior to the services at 4 p.m.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
